We can have better schools and do it within a sensible budget.

Like many other Everett residents, I understand the immigrant experience as the first American-born child to my Açorean family. I’m a proud father of two and coaching children’s sports has given me a window into the importance of prioritizing every student’s learning needs. 

As a financial analyst and accountant (CPA), I bring a needed experience to the School Board. A great deal of the board’s time is spent on budgeting, and my financial background will help make these exercises productive and efficient. I also speak fluent Portuguese and intermediate Spanish, allowing me to converse with more parents on a deeper level. 

I pledge to change that—I will work with the administration to get creative about finding space. I will advocate for more research grants for our schools. Electing me means electing a true advocate for our children.
